PURPOSE:To improve thermal comfortability and to simplify treatment of condensed water by a method wherein a water pan having a gradient in the gravity direction and dividing the main body into an indoor side and an outdoor side is provided on the lower part of an evaporator and air nozzles are equipped around a blower. CONSTITUTION:When an air-conditioner is driven for cooling or dehumidification, the condensed water generated in an indoor heat exchanger 5 is dropped in the gravity direction and received by a water pan 12 and dropped through the drain pipe 13 over an outdoor heat exchanger 3. In spite of the operation mode of the air-conditioner, the air introduced by the rotation of a turbo fan 7 from a suction port 9 into the main body 1 is heated, cooled or dehumidified by a heat exchanger 5, then blown out of the air blow-out port 8 uniformly to all directions of the room. The pan 12 separates the airflow circuit into an indoor and an outdoor circuit. A vibration absorbing damper 15 receives the vibration of a compressor 2 mainly in the gravity direction and the vibration is prevented from being transmitted to a floor 16. Therefore, a blower 6 can be driven at a low speed and the sound be reduced, the horizontal distribution of temperature is equalized and comfortability is simplified. |
