<p>PURPOSE:To simplify an electric circuit by providing a sensor for detecting every information of paper size and paper end common to every stage of a paper supply mechanism to store the information of paper size and paper end in a memory of a copier controlling device. CONSTITUTION:In the lower portion of a copier body 3 having an optical system 1 and a copying mechanism 2 are provided a plurality of stages of paper supply mechanisms 6 consisting of a cassette 4 for receiving copy papers, cassette carrier 5, etc. In the right portion of the paper supply mechanism 6 is disposed a drive unit A for vertically moving an unit body 10 on which a paper supply unit 7, a paper end sensor 8 and a paper size detector 9 are mounted. The drive unit A consists of a stepping motor 11 for driving and a drive body 12 for receiving a drive force of the motor 11 to vertically reciprocate the unit body 10 over the whole stages of the paper supply mechanism 6. And the information of paper end and paper size is detected by the sensors 8, 9 and stored in RAM of 1 chip microcomputer.</p> |
