An interchangeable tooth-brush (2) is secured at the end of a handle (1). The end of the handle comprises a threading (3) to which is screwed a threaded sleeve (7), a hole (5) through the threaded portion and a groove (4). The bristle support (10) of the brush (2) has a cylindrical plastic mounting (13) of which the free end is comprised of a stop-forming traverse (14). The part of the brush (2) provided with the bristles is inserted through the hole (5), the traverse (14) is introduced into the groove (4) and a sleeve (7) is screwed to the threading (3) on top of the traverse (14) so as to press the latter to the bottom of the groove (4). The mounting (13) makes possible a rapid and firm fixing without effort to the handle (1) exerted by the brush (2). Furthermore, it prevents any injury caused by the free end (12) of the bristle support (10), the latter being protected against bending and rupture. |
