<p>PURPOSE:To improve the transmissivity of position information on a pen even when a display device is stacked on a tablet in one body by reading the position coordinates of the pen on the basis of the ratio of voltages from plural Hall elements provided to the tablet. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic flux produced by the indication pen 2 put close to the tablet 3 operates on Hall elements 4-7 which are arranged diagonally, and a coordinate detecting circuit 8 calculates the x-axial coordinate position of the indication pen 2 ratios of voltages developed at Hall elements 4 and 5, and 6 and 7 and also calculates the y-axial coordinate position of the indication pen 2 from ratios of voltages developed at the Hall elements 4 and 6, and 5 and 7, thereby sending the data to a control circuit 9. A liquid-crystal display device 10 can be combined on the tablet 3 in one body.</p> |
