PURPOSE:To prevent a spark plug from carbon pile and subsequent starting inability by driving a throttle valve above the idle opening for the specified period when the engine starts, in the case of a throttle valve controller of electric control type. CONSTITUTION:Opening of a throttle valve is operated by an operation means 61 depending on accelerator manipulated amount detected by an accelerator detecting means 60, and a throttle valve 63 is driven through a throttle valve driving means 62. A starting correction means 65 is mounted on this controller 29. Correction signals are transmitted to the operation means 61 and the throttle valve driving means 62 from the starting correction means 65 depending on the signal from a starting detecting means 64 when the engine starts, and the throttle valve 63 is driven above the idle opening for the specified period. A spark plug is prevented from carbon pile by supplying a large amount of inlet air by this mechanism, and starting performance of the engine is secured. |
