PURPOSE:To obtain an unadjusted control signal output part without any special encoder, by forming a bar pattern on the copy stand and reading it by a part of line sensor and using it as speed and position detecting signal. CONSTITUTION:When operating a reading device with placing a copy 1 on a ceiling glass 2, a reading head 5 turns on a light source 10 and reads the figure with forming it on the line sensor 13, and at the same time it reads the bar pattern B. The read signal of the line sensor 13 is amplified by a video amplifier 14 and conveyed to the upper device. And, out of the output of the line sensor 13, right and left side of the bar pattern BP is cut out by a bit cut out part 15. The one part of this bar pattern signal is conveyed to a survo circuit 17 as speed signal and position signal just like a conventional encoder signal. when sub-scan is done by this survo motor, a linear encoder is unnecessary because pulse signal is issued from a part of picture output,. therefore, precision is promoted and adjustment becomes unnecessary. |
