PURPOSE:To prevent a blow away of scavenging air, by arranging the direction of a set of scavenging ports closer to the exhaust port, of plural sets of scavenging ports arranged symmetrically to the axis of the exhaust port, in the direction opposite to the exhaust flow through the exhaust port. CONSTITUTION:In a cylinder 1 of a two-cycle engine, two sets of scavenging ports3, 3 and 6, 6 are arranged symmetrically to the axis 5 passing through the center line of the exhaust port 2 and the center of the cylinder 1. For these scavenging pots, the angle between the center lines 10, 10 of the ports 6, 6 which are closer to the exhaust port 2, and the axis 5 is made smaller than the angle of others. Thus, a blow away of scavenging air through the scavenging ports 6, 6 to the exhaust port 2 can be reduced. |
