<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a paper from being staggered or wrinkled, by providing a mechanism for switching between a condition wherein a paper is formly pressed against a capstan by a pinch roller and a condition wherein the pinch roller is lightly pressed in such a degree as to bring the paper into contact with the capstan. CONSTITUTION:When setting a paper, a lever 15 is raised up to a position where it makes contact with a stopper 16, whereby the lever 15 is pressed against the stopper 16 by a spring 14, and the pinch roller 5 is held with a gap between it and the capstan 4. When the lever 15 is moved to the side opposite to the stopper 16, the pinch roller 5 is pressed against the capstan 4 by the load of the spring due to eccentricity of an eccentric shaft 6. When printing, the shaft 6 is rotated by a rotary solenoid in the direction for pressing the pinch roller 5 against the capstan 4, whereby the paper 2 is firmly pressed against the capstan 4 by flexure of rubber in an amount corresponding to the eccentricity.</p> |
