PURPOSE:To prevent occurrence of an offensive sound accompanying the change in running speed by grounding the output terminal for reproducing signal for a specified time by a muting transistor when dubbing speed is changed. CONSTITUTION:When a speed changing switch 3 is switched toward the high speed side, a tape recorder is placed in high speed dubbing state, and when the switching operation is made, an H level signal is outputted to the output terminal of a NAND circuit 6 and the control transistors (TR) 44 and 42 of a muting control circuit 40 are energized. This energizes a muting TR37 for a specified time, and therefore, the offensive sound reproduced when the running speed is changed is not outputted to an output terminal 20. If the switch 3 is changed from high speed to low speed, the low speed dubbing operation occurs, and when this switching is done, an L level signal is outputted to the output terminal of the circuit 6 and TR42 is energized thereby energizing TR37 for a specified time. |
