PURPOSE:To obtain a high quality FRP formed part with no sink on the surface of a product and at the same time contrive to reduce the consumption of energy necessary for forming by a structure wherein capsules, in each of which hardening agentis contained and which is broken when pressure is loaded thereonto, are mixed with compound. CONSTITUTION:Pressure forming plastic sheet stock 1 consists in mixing a large number of capsules containing hardening agent 3 with compound 2 mainly being composed of resin, which reacts by contacting with the hardening agent so as to harden itself. A capsule 4 itself is a shell-like body, which does not break until the predetermined pressure is applied. Because the capsules, in each of which hardening agent is contained and each of which breaks when the pressure is loaded, are mixed in compound mainly consisting of resin, the plastic sheet stock can be pressure-formed at normal temperature, resulting in suppressing the thermal contraction of plastic, which may occur during the cooling of a formed part, and enabling to obtain a high quality FRP formed part with no sink developed and at the same time enabling to contrive to reduce the consumption of energy necessary for forming the part. |
