Chaff and unhulled rice flow along the sloped passage (9) by the wind force and are separated in the separating portion. And they flow into the fan room(7) through the wind hole(9') and are exhausted through the chaff exit(11). A sub-wind inlet(12) is formed in the body and is controlled by an openning and shutting plate(13). This plate is opened when the vacuum state is made between the fan(7) and the wind inlet(8) and it makes the flowlate of the sloped passage(9) constant. An acting plate(15) is established in the rice falling room(3). It cooperates with the plate(13) and controls the flowlate of wind.
