PURPOSE:To improve a control accuracy in an electrically operated throttle valve control apparatus by correcting the opening of the throttle valve in accordance with an intake air quantity in a throttle bypass line. CONSTITUTION:In a control apparatus 29 for controlling the opening of a throt tle valve 3 according to the amount of operation of an accelerator 20 detected in an accelerator position 24, the amount of bypass air is controlled by a bypass valve 54 in a throttle valve bypass line 53 in compliance with the operational condition of an engine. Further, according to the amount of bypass air, the target value of air intake per cylinder is corrected and the opening characteris tics of a throttle valve 3 are compensated, whereby the accuracy of throttle valve control according to the amount of operation of the accelerator is im proved regardless of the amount of bypass air. |
