PURPOSE:To control a fuel injection quantity so accurately in a manner conformable to excellent responsiveness, by installing a state observation part, which estimates a state variable in a control system of a fuel injection pump, and also a feedback gain setting part which sets a controlled variable of an actuator. CONSTITUTION:A state observation part VI estimates a state variable in a system controlling the position of an overflow timing adjustment part II of a fuel injection pump I. A cumulating part VII finds an integral value or a cumulative value of a deviation between the desired position and the actual position of the adjustment member II. A feedback gain setting part VIII sets a controlled variable of an actuator III for controlling the adjustment member to be adjusted to the desired position. Thus, control over a fuel injection quantity is performable so accurately in a manner condormable to excellent responsiveness. |
