PURPOSE:To enhance the strength of a molded part and eliminate the dispersion in strength by a method wherein composition adhered on transfer rollers is scattered in powder form by means of scattering rollers, heaped up in the state being mixed with reinforcing fibers and finally impregnated by being passed through an impregnating apparatus. CONSTITUTION:Resin composition adhered onto the surfaces of transfer rollers 3a and 3b are shifted downwards with the rotations of the rollers 3a and 3b and scattered in powder from at the junction of the surfaces of the rollers 3a and 3b and those of scattering rollers 4a and 4b, both of which are respectively rotated with a little gap between the rollers 3a and 3b and 4a and 4b. After being mixed with uniformly scattered glass fibers, the resin composition scattered in powder form is adhered and heaped up onto polyethylene films 5a and 5b and transmitted to an impregnating and degassing apparatus consisting of impregnating and degassing rollers 10 and belts 11 while being held between the films 5a and 5b. The resultant impregnated and degassed fiber reinforced thermosetting resin molding material 12 can be kept in roll form, in a folded state or the like. Consequently, fiber reinforced thermosetting resin molding material, the reinforcing fibers of which do not easily break and are scattered uniformly, can be manufactured. |
