PURPOSE:To realize mass production of low cost by making winding grooves, track grooves and reinforcing grooves in C type core material and L type core material and sticking them together to form a flat plate-like block and then cutting it into head blocks. CONSTITUTION:External winding grooves 12a are formed on the C type core material 11a and internal winding grooves 13 are formed in parallel on the other side, and track grooves 14a are formed crossing the internal winding grooves at right angles. Also on the L type core material 11b, the external winding grooves 12b, reinforcing grooves 15 are track grooves 14b are formed. Then these core materials 11a and 11b are stuck together to form a flat plate- like block 16. Then the block 16 is cut into magnetic head blocks 17 which are then cut into head tips 18. Since it is easy to form the grooves in the big materials, mass production at low cost is realized. |
