PURPOSE:To realize many mixing sound recordings with fewer devices by recording the mixed signals of time compressed signals of reproducing signal of a magnetic tape and external signal on the endless tape and by recording the reproducing signals on a preceding reproducing track. CONSTITUTION:When a PCM signal of violin part only is time-compressed and recorded in the track of a magnetic tape 4, the reproducing signal of a head 2 is supplied to a sound recording amplifier 7. On the other hand, a PCM signal of viola part only of an external signal input terminal 8 is accumulated in a memory circuit 14, taken out after being time-compressed in the same time relationship with the stored signal of the tape 4, supplied to the amplifier 7, mixed with the reproducing signal of the head 2, and stored temporarily in an endless tape 11 by a recording head 12. And at the same time when the head 2 completes the track reproduction, a recording head 3 starts tracing the track, and the part recorded by a reproducing head 13 of a memory part 9 is reproduced and supplied to the head 3. |
