PURPOSE:To revise the operation program without waiting for a traveling servicemen by sending the batch data through communication circuit every when the batch data are generated. CONSTITUTION:In case when batch data are transferred and revisions are made to a firmware in the system, the batch data are registered at a memory device 24. A host computer 21 sends the batch data to each site through a circuit interface 23 and a communication circuit 3. As a processor 11 can receive the data from the circuit 3 with having an interruption from the host 21 when a service processor SVP14 is in communication circuit monitoring situation, the batch data are stored on a disc 18 through a circuit adaptor 15, SVP14 and floppy disc control adaptor 16. When the batch data are stored on the disc 18, a stand-by disc can be revised, with switching the action to act side.
