This invention relates to the mfr. of a Kraft paper of high strength from waste paper. A method for mfg. the Kraft paper comprises(1) putting 3% of Na2SiO3, 0.4% of talc, and a suitable amt. of NaOH in the first pulper, (2) throwing 0.1% of triphosphate of soda, and 0.05% of naphthalene sulfuric acid in a steam mixer, (3) stoing and keeping the aboves at high temp., Ph 0.5, and 25 - 30% concn. in a soaking tower, (4) putting and mixing 3% of Na2SiO3 and rosin separately, 0.5% of cationic starch, and 0.2% of cationic urea melamine resin in a machine chest, and (5) transferring the aboves to the process of drafting paper.
