PURPOSE:To make the magnification of printing both in the printing head scanning direction and the paper delivery direction possible, by selection of the number of magnifying times with a selection switch. CONSTITUTION:24 printing elements, the number of 3 times the printing data S11 of 8 bits are arranged to a printing head 1. Data signals S11 are repeatedly read and memorized each latch signal S8 of each bit number thereof to the shift register 2 at the first magnification part 4 by the number of magnifying times selected by the first selection switch 10, and the printing operation is repeatedly carried out by the printing head 1 based on the same printing data S11 as before-mentioned by the number of magnifying times selected by the second selection switch 15 with the second magnification part 12. Therefore, one printing can be magnified both in the printing head scanning direction and the paper delivery direction and can be realized by the simple operation like selection of the number of magnifying times with the first and second selection switches 10 and 15. |
