PURPOSE:To make a hydraulic control device small by providing not only a pressure control valve to each of front wheels but also a valve that receives hydraulic pressure from a hydraulic pump, between a master cylinder and a pair of rear wheels. CONSTITUTION:When a friction coefficient of the right side of a road surface is small, a signal Sa represents a 1 first of all. This allows a selector valve 6a to position at C permitting a braking force to a right front wheel 7a to be reduced. Simultaneously,a hydraulic pressure pump 21 starts operating permitting hydraulic pressure to be applied to a pump pressure chamber 56a of a valve device 10. Subsequently, this causes a control piston 52 to move the right direction allowing it to come in contact with the stage 40b. Consequently, the connection between a master cylinder (1) side and the right rear wheel (13a) side is interrupted allowing a volmetric capacity of a volmetric chamber 47a to be increased resulting in the reduction of braking hydraulic pressure in a wheel cylinder 14a. Finally, a braking force for a left rear wheel 13b is reduced as the braking force for the right front wheel 7a is reduced permitting the braking force for the right rear wheel 13a to be maintained constant. |
