Pressure sensor, in particular for measuring the combustion pressure or the distributor pump pressure for internal combustion engines, the pressure-sensitive element, normally a thick-film resistor, being arranged on the base of a carrier which completely penetrates the pressure vessel wall with its lower part and, under the action of pressure, experiences an elastic deformation which acts on the pressure-sensitive element that is pressed by a separate holding part onto the base of the blind bore formed in the carrier, as a result of which said element changes its electrical properties for the purpose of signal evaluation. <IMAGE>
