The present invention describes an insulating wall covering which has a foamed plastics layer as backing layer, a conventional flock adhesive as intermediate layer and a flock upper layer and a process for the production thereof. These insulating wall coverings can be processed in a single operation and, because of their textile character, meet even sophisticated requirements.
