<p>PURPOSE:To erase a white line visible between blocks and to improve the printed quality by driving simultaneously adjacent two blocks while one block is moved. CONSTITUTION:In a timing t1, a pulse is applied only to a terminal SB1, and gate circuits G1-G1 are opened to drive only thermal elements T1-T1 in the 1st block B1. In a timing t2, a pulse is supplied to the terminals SB1 and SB2, and gate circuits (G1-G1) and (G2-G2) are opened to drive simultaneously the 1st and 2nd blocks B1 and B2. In timings t3-t5 a group of (the 2nd and 3rd blocks B2 and B3), that of (the 3rd and fourth blocks B3 and B4) and that of (the fourth and fifth blocks B4 and B5) are simultaneously driven, and in a timing t6 only the fifth block B5 is driven.</p> |
