<p>An elbow lever sheet metal cutting press equipped with a pressure medium cylinder drive located between elbow lever systems, which suspend the press ram from the press frame. Adjustable lateral guides are attached along the columns of the press frame. A partition wall is located between the press frame and the press ram. Also, a piston rod guide is attached to the partition wall. These structures ensure the straight movement of the press ram. The distance between the lower end of the partition wall and the press table is as short as possible to minimize frame vibration. The inclusion of a box girder and the partition wall keeps the press table horizontally and vertically rigid.</p> |
