<p>PURPOSE:To detect the erroneous transmittion of row position information by installing a means for adding row position information to original picture data on each line and an encoding means, which encodes the row position information and original picture data added to said information by row and transmits them, at the transmission side. CONSTITUTION:A row address signal F and column address signal G are outputted from a read address generator circuit 13 controlled by a microprocessor 18, and applied to a memory 11 as a read address signal. Since the row address signal F from the read address generator circuit 13 is applied to a synthesizing circuit 16 as a row position information I, said information I is applied to the top of an original picture data through the control of the microprocessor 18. An output signal J of the synthesizing circuit 16 is encoded by applying to an encoder circuit 17. In this case '1' and '0' of the row position information I of plural bits can be encoded together with the original picture data H in the same manner as the case where a continuity of '1' of the original picture data H and a continuity of '0' are encoded.</p> |
