In the case of a signalling device for room monitoring, the sensor or sensors, possibly with integrated amplifier circuits, is or are arranged and mounted in an RF screening housing. Overall, this arrangement represents a uniform, integral component, which can be mounted and electrically connected on a printed-circuitboard, for example via solder tabs, in the same way as the other circuit elements. In addition to reliable screening of the sensor elements and, possibly, of the integrated amplifier circuit, as a result of the defined mounting of the entire component on the printed-circuitboard, the orientation of the sensors is definitively aligned to the optical axis of a radiation optical device, without any additional adjustment processes being required.
