<p>PURPOSE:To improve the brake performance by using a starting resistor as a generating brake resistor. CONSTITUTION:A starting resistor shortcircuiting contactor R9 is closed during a regenerative brake, and R1-R8 are closed. If a regenerative load is eliminated at this state time, a regenerative obstruction detector ROD operates to close a generating brake contactor LB. Then, a line breaker L is opened to form a generating brake circuit. Thereafter, the resistors R1-R8 are sequentially shortcircuited by the operation of a current limiter CL, and an electric railcar is decelerated by a generating brake. Thus, a generating braking function can be added by adding a simple circuit.</p> |
