PURPOSE:To transmit normally the response of mode switching report by allowing an extension disconnecting means to by-pass a data processing means if a mark of input data of a terminal equipment exists and a mark of transmis sion data continues over a prescribed number of bits when the terminal equip ment is switched to the local mode. CONSTITUTION:In a mark detecting circuit 3, the value of a disconnection control signal (e) goes to '1' if it is detected that input data (a) and the second transmission data (d) are in the mark state together, that is, marks continue over 8 bits when the value of a disconnection indicating signal (g) is '1'. When receiving value '1' of the signal (e), a switching circuit 5 is so switched that input data (a) is outputted without passing a reception control part 1 and a transmission control part 3. Then, a slave station is disconnected from the line, and the line is disconnected at the timing of a dotted line 2 in the figure. Thus, the response is transmitted surely because the line is disconnected after the mark state after response transmission is detected. |
