PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal recording material capable of preventing deterioration caused by plasticizers present in vinyl chloride sheet, having a low color- forming temperature, by using 3,3'-diallyl-4,'-hydroxydiphenylsulfone as an effective component for developer. CONSTITUTION:As an useful colorless or light-color color-forming substance for a thermal recording material, Crystal violet lactone, Malachite green lactone, etc., may be cited. The developer used includes 3,3'-diallyl-4,4'- dihydroxydiphenylsulfone as an effective component, which may contain allyl- dihydroxydiphenylsulfone having hydroxyl groups on its 2,4' positions. The use of the thermal recording material enables high-speed printing to be performed because coloration occurs at low temperatures, and also little deterioration occurs due to contact with vinyl chloride sheet. Highly stable printing can thus be obtained. |
