<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an interior material having excellent cushioning property and high tear strength, tensile strength, etc., by coating a frothed fluid resin composition to the reverse side of the interior material base, placing a textile web on the coating layer, and impregnating and solidifying the fluid resin composition in the web. CONSTITUTION:A mechanically frothed fluid resin composition (e.g. styrene- butadiene rubber latex) is coated to the reverse side of an interior material base at a thickness of >=2mm. A bulky textile web is placed on the coating layer, and the frothed fluid resin composition is impregnated in the web by sinking the web in the coating layer. The objective interior material lined with a foamed resin containing bulky textile web can be produced by solidifying the frothed fluid resin composition. The interior material is suitable as a tablecloth, bed sheet, cushioning material, roof covering, etc.</p> |
