<p>PURPOSE:To provide compratively large deformation to a metallic can for enhancing its decorative effect by necking and curling the neighborhood of the opening of a cylindrical, bottomed metallic can in sequence before drawing the body of can from its one end toward the other end. CONSTITUTION:The opening part 2 of an Al can 1 formed into a bottomed, cylindrical shape by impact extrusion A is drawn into a prescribed diameter (d2) by a pilot 3 and a die 5 in a necking stage B before curling C the neck part of can 1. In a drawing D stage, the body 6 of can 1 is provided with the 1st-3rd drawing works D1-D3 to make the body slender from its opening part 2 to its bottom 8 in sequence. Then a bottom-corner rounded taper can 1 whose base part is spreaded gradually toward the bottom 12, is obtained. In this way, a deformed can excellent in decorative effect, is manufactured by providing comparatively large deformation thereto.</p> |
