PURPOSE:To perform the adjustment of the gap between a wick and an igniting heater by extremely simple and easy operation by a method wherein a supporting case is supported in movable manner for adjusting a gap between the igniting heater and the wick. CONSTITUTION:An igniting main body 3 is made of heat resistant and insulating material, and built-in a couple of electrodes 2 having an igniting heater 1 made of platinum on the upper part thereof. The igniting main body 3 is penetrated through a fitting hole 6 formed on a flange 5 of a wick outer cylinder 4, and fixed to a supporting case B, then the supporting case B is supported in movable manner for adjusting a gap D between the igniting heater 1 and a wick C. An engaging piece 7 formed at rear central upper part of the supporting case B correspond to the back side central part of the main body 3 is engaged with the wick outer cylinder 4 in freely swingable manner around the axis of abscissa, an adjusting screw rod 8 is provided to adjust and swing respectively the main body 3 and the supporting case B around the axis of abscissa. Thereby, the adjusting of the gap between the wick and the igniting heater can be performed by extremely simple and easy operation. |
