The bore of the compressor (10) of a gas turbine engine is selectively heated by mid-stage compressor bleed air and a higher stage compressor bleed air utilizing a two position valve (26) integral with the engine case (60) and manifold (62) with provision for fail-safe in the lower temperature bleed air position.
