Bowl launcher for automatic skittle and bowling alleys

The bowl launcher is a new bowling appliance, by means of which the bowler achieves greater accuracy by means of the ball guided in the pivotable guide tube once he has sighted the skittles using the aiming device and aligned the guide tube accordingly before the ball is launched. The work necessary to launch the ball is performed by a compressed-air cylinder which is specially adapted to the requirements of the bowl launcher, thereby saving the bowler considerable physical exertion and significantly reducing the risk of accident by making the run-up unnecessary. In this way, bowling is enriched by addition of an important variant which makes it possible for young, old and handicapped people to enjoy sport together.
