[Class 38 (iv).] In vehicles driven by regeneratively controlled motors excessive voltage on the lamps 14 is prevented by an electromagnetic switch 10, subject to the voltage across the motor circuit, which inserts a resistance 11 into the lamp circuit in excess voltage. The coil 10a of this switch may be connected into circuit by the action of the master controller 17 when the motor field is strong and the arrangement shown is such as to cause the switch to be reset when the controller is moved to its " off " position or to a weak field position. |
