PURPOSE:To attain precise remote measurement by fitting plural pairs of optical fibers having liquid level measuring parts on their leading ends respectively and different length to a fixing plate, and while irradiating the input terminals of the fibers from a light emitting part, rotating a scanning plate and detecting the reflected light. CONSTITUTION:Liquid level measuring parts 1 are fitted to the leading ends of plural pairs of optical fibers having different length each other, one is used as projecting optical fibers 2 and the other is used as photodetecting optical fibers 3. The input terminals 4 and output terminals 5 are fixed on concentrical circles (a), (b) of a circular fixing plate 6. The scanning plate 11 is rotatably arranged adjacently to the fixing plate 6, optical fibers forming light emitting terminals 9 and photodetecting terminals 10 are fixed on positions corresponding to the concentrical circles (a), (b) and these fibers are connected to a light emitting terminal 9 and a photodetecting terminal 10. A reference point is detected 22 through a through holl 23 formed on the scanning plate 11. The scanning plate 11 is rotated and a changing point of a photodetecting value of the photodetecting part 8 is detected on the basis of the reference point 22. Consequently, the liquid level can be detected precisely and clearly and can be remotely transmitted and automatic control of the liquid level can be made easy. |
