PURPOSE:To enable a minute phosphor pattern film to be efficiently formed by applying a phosphor powder to the inner surface of the bulb and then supplying moistened air to develop images before removing the excess stable powder adhering to the inner surface. CONSTITUTION:After a minute phosphor-receiving pattern film is formed on the inner panel surface of a closed bulb 2 and then a given phosphor powder is applied to the film, the closed bulb 2 is set in a carrier 3 and then a development nozzle 1 is placed in the bulb 2 by means of a device 8 for vertically driving the nozzle 1. Next, while the closed bulb 2 is rotated by means of a revolving device 4 moistened air 6 is sprayed out through the holes 1a-1c of the end of the development nozzle 1 to remove the excess stable phosphor powder adhering to the inner panel surface of the bulb 2 thereby developing images. By the means mentioned above, it is possible to efficiently form a minute phosphor pattern film. |
