PURPOSE:To improve the suitability of transfer paper to a copying machine and to reduce the amount of produced dust by coating or impregnating resin impregnated paper contg. a specified wt% of resin and having a specified opacity or more with wax. CONSTITUTION:Resin impregnated paper contg. >=20wt% resin and having >=655 opacity is coated or impregnated with wax to obtain electrophotographic transfer paper having superior suitability to a copying machine and producing a little dust. In order to inhibit dust production, paper is required to be impregnated with >=20% resin, but excess resin increases the transparency and makes the paper unsuitable for electrophotographic copying, so the amount of the resin is regulated so that the paper has >=65% opacity. Thus, the suitability of the transfer paper for transfer is improved, and the amount of dust produced can be reduced. |
