PURPOSE:To provide a cosmetic exhibiting moisturizing and UV-proofing effects and surface activity, and capable of remarkable reducing the amount of other surfactant, by using a water-soluble ester of humic acid or nitrohumic acid as a component of natural origin. CONSTITUTION:One or more water-soluble esters of humic acid or nitrohumic acid prepared by reacting humic acid or nitrohumic acid with an acid, polyhydric alcohol, alkylene oxide, etc. under a proper condition are used as the components of the objective cosmetic. The amount of the ester is 0.0001-50wt%, preferably 0.01-10wt% based on the cosmetic. It can be used in the form of skin lotion, milky lotion, cream, pack, foundation, lipstick, eye shadow, hair dressing cosmetic, perfumery cosmetic, etc. |
