PURPOSE:To provide possibility of altering the speed change ratio easily by putting an input and an output roller in slide contact with the surface of a rotary disc, and by moving this rotary disc. CONSTITUTION:An input 2 and an output 4 roller are situated in slide contact with the surface of a rotary disc 3, and rotation of the input shaft 1 is transmitted over to the output shaft 5 upon changing the speed with a certain speed change ratio. The rotary disc is held by retaining mechanisms 8, 9 and can be moved vertically by operating a speed change control plate 6. Therefore the direction in which the roller is fronting can be changed with respect to the tangential line to the rotary disc, so that the speed change ratio can be altered to any desired value. |
