PURPOSE:To improve the throughput by providing two kinds or more clocks to an execution speed control circuit and controlling the microsequencer in a period suitable for the microinstruction at each microinstruction to reduce the waiting time. CONSTITUTION:A program memory 4 outputs a microcode 1 corresponding to an inputted microaddress 6. The code 1 is formed as bit constitution and includes an execution speed selecting flag 11, a microinstruction 2 and an address control code 3. An execution speed control circuit 10 applies a clock 12 controlling address 6 latched by the microsequencer 5 toward the memory 4. When the execution speed of the instruction 2 included in the code 1 is fast by the flag 11, the circuit 10 selects a short period clock and when the execution speed is slow, the circuit 10 selects a long period clock. |
