<p>A tool, particularly a boring tool, comprises a housing (1) and an output shaft (19). The latter is rotatable by means of pressure medium-operated rotary motor (7) and axially displaceable through a given stroke by means of a pressure-operated axial piston (40). The piston a (40) is fixed to the output shaft (19). The output shaft (19) is connected to rotate with the rotor (17) by way of a coupling (K1) which permits axial displacement. This permits the tool to be made small and in particular employed as a hand tool.</p> |
