PURPOSE:To increase adhesive strength in a high-temperature atmosphere and to obtain superior environmental resistance by forming a joint part by sputtering and plating. CONSTITUTION:A conductive thin film 4 for depositing a magnetic material plating layer is formed on the surface of a nonmagnetic body 2 by sputtering chromium and gold, and fixed opposite the nonmagnetic body 2 across a spacer 5 which has thickness corresponding to gap width required as the magnetic head. In this state, the body 2 is dipped in magnetic plating liquid and an elec tric field is applied between a plating electrode 6 and the conductive thin film 4 to deposite a magnetic body part 7 and thus charge the magnetic material in the part sandwiched between both nonmagnetic bodies 2, thereby laminating the nonmagnetic bodies and magnetic body in one body. In this case, the number of the non- magnetic bodies is >=2 and conductive thin films are formed on both surface of each nonmagnetic body, so that a multilayered laminate type magnetic head material is manufactured. |
