The invention relates to a vehicle of the type comprising a chassis with an incorporated seat and a pair of orientable skis capable of moving over snowy slopes in the hands of a handicapped person, such as a paraplegic, the said vehicle being characterised in that it comprises the combination of: - two lateral supports 1A, 9A, 9B of the chassis 1A, 1B, of a generally triangular shape whose point is directed forwards which, on the other hand, are articulated along the side inclined forwards 1A, 1B and, on the other hand, are fixed by their horizontal base side 7A, 7B to the skis 13A, 13B; - and two lateral control levers 15A, 15B within reach of the hands of the driver, which are each securely fastened, one to the two lateral supports and allowing these to be pivoted, selectively and independently of one another, about their inclined axis 8A, 11A-8B, 11B, which has the result of making the corresponding ski 13A, 13B assume the edge angle and orientation desired for a given movement of the vehicle. <IMAGE>
