PURPOSE:To manufacture an anticorrosive marine structure having a high strength and a high corrosion resistance at low cost by covering a steel core material with a synthetic resin composition mixed with reinforcing fibers. CONSTITUTION:A synthetic resin composition 2 mixed with reinforcing fibers is covered on the surface of a steel material as a core to obtain an anticorrosive material 3. The synthetic resin composition 2 used is composed of a thermosetting resin, e.g., unsaturated polyester, etc., or a thermoplastic resin, e.g., polyethylene, etc., as a base material and a reinforcing fiber, e.g., glass fiber or carbon fiber, etc. The anticorrosive material 2 is designed to be shared by the steel material 1 mainly with respect to its strength and also to enable the resin composition 2 to function as a protective film mainly. The amount of the synthetic resin composition 2 to used can be reduced, and the reduction of cost and the enhancement of strength can be attained. |
