摘要 PURPOSE:To provide one reservoir with the functions of two reservoirs and prevent expansion and contraction of a reservoir side plate due to the change of temperature by a method wherein high-temperature heat medium and low-temperature heat medium are reserved in one reservoir utilizing a density difference between both heat mediums. CONSTITUTION:When the temperature of the heat medium is increased, the density thereof is decreased, therefore, the high-temperature heat medium 36 is reserved in the upper part and the low-temperature heat medium 35 is reserved in the lower part of the reservoir while a temperature boundary layer 37 is formed between both of them. In case heat accumulation is effected, the low-temperature heat medium 35 is sent into the heat exchanger 3 from a low-temperature heat medium receiving and discharging nozzle 20 to heat it, thereafter, is discharged to the upper part of the reservoir from a high-temperature heat medium receiving and discharging nozzle 18 through an upright pipeline 19. The level of the heat medium is constant substantially and only the temperature boundary layer 37 is moved up-and-down. Members and main body of the reservoir 11, which are located below a lower limit L, are dominated by the low-temperature heat medium temperature at all times while the same above an upper limit H are dominated by the high-temperature heat medium temperature. Accordingly, the temperature change of a membrane 23 is within the range between the upper limit H and the lower limit L, therefore, the expansion and contraction of the membrane may be absorbed by grooves provided on the membrane 23.
