The invention relates to a new piece for assembly and technological means for application intended for producing metal ladders. The assembly piece produces an expansion of the hollow end 6 of the profile of the rung B in the upright N thus rendering the assembly permanent and not dismantleable, two assembly pieces 5 being necessary per bar.
