<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of cracks of an IC (identification) card despite application of the bending force, by using plural memory chips to form an information memory means for IC card using plural microprocessor chips to form an information processing means. CONSTITUTION:A memory chip which has about 5mm per side and the memory capacity necessary for the present IC card with a single unit is replaced with four memory chips 15a-15d of about 2mm per side which has 1/4 memory capacity. In the same way, a microprocessor is divided into three microprocessor chips 16a-16c. Thus the internal stress is scattered to each chip despite application of the bending force. This prevents the cracks of an IC card.</p> |
