The clock housing (11) has a carrying plate for a clock movement (18) and motion work (21), surrounded by a dial frame (15 or 16). The carrying plate (12) is provided respectively with projecting dial frames (15 or 16) of different shapes, from its surfaces (13,14) arranged parallel to the axis. The outer periphery (26) of the first dial frame (15) runs on a surface (13) radially within the front boundary of the carrying plate (12). The outer periphery (27) of the other dial frame (16) runs on a surface (14) along the front boundary (24) of the carrying plate (12), according to the selected viewing side of the clock.
