The invention relates to a novel ball game in which balls of various colours allocated to several players are released over a playing area 16a, 16b by operating a shutter 22. The balls descend along the inclined surface 16a, are possibly deflected by pockets 26 and ascend along a second inclined surface 16b, knocking against one another and becoming mixed up in a random manner, in order then to fall back into the pockets which are each allocated to a specific player. This novel arrangement makes it possible to introduce a certain element of risk into this type of game for a surprising and amusing result. <IMAGE>
